Pappad Plant
Pappad, an Indian
snacks, is made by gram flour or other pulses flour by adding salt and
other additives to it. The dough is formed into sheets and cut in the
desired round shape. The cut Pappad is dried and packed.
Machines involved in making Pappad:
a) LS-101 : Dough Kneader
To prepare the dough for Pappad by mixing flour with spices, salt, other additives and water
b) LS-106 : Extruder
To extrude the dough of pappad into small dough balls for making thin sheets
c) LS-111 : Sheeting & Cutting Machine
To form very thin sheets of dough of the required thickness and cut them into round shapes
d) LS-120 : Drying oven
To dry the pappad by reducing its moisture content
e) LX-822 : Packing Machine
To pack the Pappad into suitable printed packets

a) Pappad Plant with capacity of 150 kg per 8 hour shift
b) Pappad Plant with capacity of 300 kg per 8 hour shift
